Kien (Bachelor of Physiotherapy Hons (UQ) ) is a physiotherapist with an interest in all aspects of musculoskeletal health and preventative wellness. He has worked in multiple private clinics across Brisbane since graduating from the University of Queensland in 2016. He sees clients from all walks of life, ranging from office workers to cross-fit enthusiasts, from new mums to car accidents survivors. He understands everyone is different, and an individualized approach always creates the best outcome for his clients.
Being a passionate runner and swimmer himself, Kien has run a few races from 5km to 21km and has also competed in triathlons. This has given him first-hand experience and fueled his enthusiasm for treating running and swimming-related injuries. With his passion and knowledge of sports, Kien has successfully helped athletes to overcome injuries and maximize performance.
Kien adopts a holistic and personalized approach with his clients using a range of hands-on techniques and dry needling to help improve movement and reduce symptoms. He also empowers his clients by providing them individualized exercise programs to assist them with recovery and achieve their full potential.
In his spare time, Kien enjoys running, swimming, cross-fitting, and finding new restaurants to try with his wife. He is also passionate about volunteering; his latest trip was to Vanuatu providing physiotherapy for the locals.
Kien speaks fluent Mandarin and Cantonese.
