An established doctor with over 15 years medical experience, Rhowena has been at Redlands General Practice since its inception. She enjoys all aspects of primary care and strongly believes in compassionate, personalised care and empowering her patients through education.
After completing rural General Practice training with James Cook University, she was awarded Fellowship by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2020. Dedicated to continuing professional development, Rhowena obtained postgraduate Diplomas in Child Health (University of Sydney) and Internal Medicine (Philippine College of Physicians). She is also a member of the Australasian Menopause Society and the Newson Health Menopause Society in the UK. Rhowena strongly believes in preventative care and dietary + lifestyle managements in alleviating chronic illness. She is an advocate of the Low Carb Down Under and the Defeat Diabetes Australia research program.
Outside of work, Rhowena enjoys singing and spending quality time with her young family and their dog Patches.
