Dr Esther Goldfinch grew up in the Netherlands and has called Australia home for over 15 years. Before studying Medicine, she worked as a registered nurse at Logan Hospital. This is where she also gained experience as a doctor working in various departments, most recently in the Adult and Paediatric Emergency Departments.

Dr Esther has been passionate about community health since starting her career, with special interests in:

• Women’s health
• Preventative health
• Paediatrics
• Skin checks
• Minor procedures
• Chronic disease management

Outside of medicine, Dr Esther enjoys reading science-fiction and fantasy books, watching movies, attending symphony orchestra concerts at QPAC, and exploring Australia and the world with her husband.

Dr Esther is fluent in Dutch.
